Uttar Basti — Intrauterine / Urethral Basti
Uttar Basti is a classical specialised basti in which medicated sneha/decoction may be administered via the vaginal–uterine route (women) or urethral route (men, selected cases). It is described educationally as supportive in infertility, artava dushti and selected shukra–mutra vata patterns — only under registered physician supervision. No conception guarantee.
What is this treatment?
After assessment, infection screening and suitability, a measured medicated fluid is introduced by classical sterile technique via the indicated route. This is never a home or self-administered procedure.
