वैद्य आदित्य घोसल्या · Reg. No. NR/AY/RJ/0007555 (NCISM)
Introduction — educational medicine catalogue
Ayurvedic medicines are not from Google or shopkeeper — taken in physician-directed dose, timing and anupana. Arogyasudha Ayurveda Hospital operates in Jaipur (Rampura Dabri, Tantiyawas) and at a Chomu centre under Vaidya Aditya Ghosalya (Reg NR/AY/RJ/0007555). Pharmacy list (/shop/pharmacy) is educational — introduction to 35+ medicine forms; do not self-purchase and consume. Dispensing activates after AYUSH licence; currently knowledge-sharing mode.
Medicine forms — vati, churna, kashaya
Vati/gutika — round form of kashaya or churna; churna — ground mix with water/ghee/honey; kashaya/kwatha — boiled liquid; avaleha — honey–ghee jam; asava — water fermentation; arishta — decoction fermentation; ghrita — medicated ghee; taila — external/basti/nasya; rasayana — long-term dhatu nourishment direction. Each form differs in absorption, properties and use.
Classical references — AFI, Bhaishajya Ratnavali
Arogyasudha list is grounded in AFI, Bhaishajya Ratnavali, Charaka Rasayana references and CCRAS-style notes — not false citations. Example: Chyawanprash — Charaka Rasayana; Tribhuvan Kirti Ras — educational jwara context.
Common medicine categories
Digestion: Hingvastaka churna, Ajirnantaka rasa. Jwara–respiratory direction: shodhana educational reference. Vata–joint: Mahayogaraj guggulu (physician dose). Rasayana: Chyawanprash, Ashwagandha churna. Women's health direction: Shatavari ghrita reference. Full list /shop/pharmacy — educational ingredients and indications ('considered supportive').
Anupana and timing — why it matters
Anupana — water, ghee, honey, milk with medicine — changes absorption and properties. Timing — empty stomach, before/after food, night — physician-directed. 'Two spoons daily' social media — not medicine.
Farm sourcing and traceability
Ashwagandha, neem, tulsi etc. on farm (/about/farm) — medicine source transparency. Not every bottle imported without story. FSSAI farm products soon — educational for now.
Who should not self-medicate
Pregnancy, children, elderly, liver–kidney disease, heart disease, taking other drugs, dhatu-rasa medicines — vaidya only. Rasaushadhi (parada etc.) — special training; not general self-use.
Process at Arogyasudha
1) Consult → diagnosis. 2) Medicine plan — dose, days, anupana written. 3) Dispensing after licence. 4) Follow-up — adjustment by response. Jaipur–Rampura OPD; Chomu centre.
Access in Jaipur
'Ayurvedic shop Jaipur' searches show many options — look for NCISM-registered vaidya, clear medicine source and educational honesty (not guarantee ads). Rampura Dabri — /contact.
With treatments and Panchakarma
Medicines often with external karma (/treatments) and Panchakarma (/knowledge/panchakarma-therapy-complete-guide-jaipur) — internal + external coordination. Taila/ghrita in basti; shiro taila in nasya — pharmacy and karma one plan.
Limitations
Medicines do not guarantee cure. Not substitute for changing modern drugs without vaidya. Serious symptoms — physician.
