Rasayana Therapy — Rejuvenation
Rasayana is a pillar of Ayurveda’s Jara Chikitsa — nourishing dhatus, supporting ojas and addressing premature ageing. At Arogyasudha, Rasayana is educational and physician-guided: after suitable purification, individual rasayana, pathya and routine — no immortality or cure claims.
What is this treatment?
Two main modes: Vatatapika (in open air and light) and Kutipraveshika (in a specialised isolation kuti). Both require prior shodhana, suitable rasayana dravya, pathya and timed protocol.
Classical Ayurvedic background
Charaka Samhita Chikitsa Sthana — Rasayana chapters; Ashtanga Hridaya Uttara — Rasayana. Jara Chikitsa is one of the eight limbs. Aims include supporting strength, longevity and cognition in the healthy, and dhatu balance in the ill — as educational classical goals.
Conditions it may support
- ·Premature fatigue / weakness direction
- ·Ojas and resilience support (educational)
- ·Memory–focus support
- ·Skin–hair nourishment direction

- ·Geriatric educational counselling
Who should avoid it?

Frequently asked questions
Rasayana vs Kutipraveshika?
Kutipraveshika is an intensive rasayana mode in isolation kuti. Vatatapika is the open-environment mode.
Is Chyavanaprasha enough?
OTC Chyavanaprasha ≠ full Rasayana therapy. Fitness, purification and pathya need a vaidya.
Safe for elders?
Gentle Vatatapika may suit many elders after strength–agni review — individual.
